Devonian Gardens
Devonian Gardens is a 2.5 acre climate controlled
garden on the 4th floor of a office building and shopping center
in downtown Calgary, Alberta. The lovely gardens feature
more than 138 varieties of plants, including 16,000 Florida tropicals
and 4,000 local plants. Features include an entrance gate,
a Quiet Garden, a woodland setting, waterfalls, fountains, koi
and turtle pools and a Sun Garden. Artwork, sculpture and
constantly changing displays add another dimension of interest
to this lovely indoor garden space

The Plus 15 or +15 Skyway network
in Calgary,
Alberta, Canada,
is the world's most extensive pedestrian skywalk system with
a total length of 16 km (10 miles) and 59 bridges. The system
is so named because the skywalks are approximately 15 feet
(4.6 metres) above street level. The central core of the system
is a series of enclosed shopping centres, and the City's flagship
department stores. |
